Activision has just published the first trailer: Vanguard, the next game in the Call of Duty franchise. There have been a few photographs, or rather screenshots, of the next Call of Duty game floating around the internet, but this clip comes right from the mouth of the horse, ensuring the franchise’s future.
The game presents World War 2 view, as evidenced by the presence of German jungles, antique armaments, and beaches littered with the wreckage of old planes in the trailer. The teaser does not include Call of Duty: Vanguard’s release date, although Activision has stated that an announcement will be made on August 19.
Sledgehammer Games, the team behind past games including Call of Duty: WWII and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, is working on Activision’s forthcoming game. All prior games have garnered glowing reviews for their gameplay and graphics, so I’m hoping COD: Vanguard will be no different. The trailer from Activision does not reveal much, but the graphics in the trailer are stunning. On August 19, the firm will host the Battle of Verdansk in the COD Warzone. It will begin at 1.30 p.m. ET. This corresponds to August 19 at 11 p.m. IST
With all of the competition, Call of Duty: Vanguard will significantly strengthen Activision’s standing in the gaming business. Activision may not be concerned about competition. A pending lawsuit accusing it of cultivating a workplace culture that encourages sexual harassment might bring the business down
In a recent lawsuit, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) has made the claim.
Only time will tell what Activision’s future holds, but it appears to be promising and engaging enough for players. At the next event, Activision provides more information about the game. As well as information about the game’s compatible machines and devices.
