According to 91mobiles, the Galaxy A22 5G will be available in two variants: a 6GB+128GB RAM and storage variant estimated to cost $19,999 in the country, and an 8GB+128GB RAM and storage variant expected to cost $11,999. The Galaxy A22 5G was launched in Europe at a price of roughly EUR 230 for the lesser variant, as readers may recall. Given that these prices are expected to include GST, it appears that they will be priced similarly to their newly published European counterparts.
The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. It offers 5G connectivity at a low price. It has a 6.6-inch FHD TFT display that refreshes at 90 frames per second. The gadget has an inbuilt storage capacity of up to 128GB. Its users can add a MicroSD card with a storage capacity of up to 1TB. The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery that charges in 15 minutes.
The Galaxy A22 5G has a triple camera configuration with a 48MP primary sensor. A 5MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor on the back. Meanwhile, the device’s front features an 8MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A22 5G will have a fingerprint sensor on the side. It will come pre-installed with Samsung’s OneUI Core 3.1, which is based on Android 11.
However, readers should take the pricing information for the Galaxy A22 5G with a grain of salt. Because the South Korean company has yet to release official pricing for smartphones in the country. We will learn more once the gadget is officially launched next month.
