Introduction

Nokia is working on a new phone that will be released soon. On Twitter, the business teased that the phone will not require the use of a mobile case. This teaser suggests a tough phone, possibly the Nokia XR20.

The Nokia XR20 has been the subject of rumors for quite some time and based on the renders we’ve seen of the smartphone, the phone is believed to sport an armored exterior. Nokia hasn’t said what they’ll be releasing later this month, but it could be the Nokia XR20.

According to the teaser, the device will be released on July 27. A hand is seen holding a phone with a cover on it in a photo published on Twitter. “With our newest Nokia phone, you will never need a case again,” says an inscription on the phone’s cover.

Specifications

The date is then written after that. On the rear of the phone in the image is around a camera module with four sensors, as well as the Zeiss branding, which we’ve also seen on the Nokia X20.

This gives credibility to this phone’s speculation. This is likely to be a somewhat more powerful variant of the Nokia X20, possibly featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 processor seen in the Nokia X20.

That means the phone’s performance will remain unchanged when compared to the Nokia X20, but the RAM will be increased on the Nokia XR20. The Nokia XR20 is believed to run Android 11 and, like the Nokia X20, HMD is expected to provide three years of software and security upgrades.

The Nokia XR20 is likely to appear extremely similar to the Nokia X20, and the teaser does not give us any reason to believe differently. It’s quite improbable that this smartphone will give the Nokia XR20 a complete redesign.

This phone has, on the other hand, is supposed to be rugged. Because it does not require a mobile cover. It is fascinating because Nokia does not already have a rugged phone in its range. With this smartphone, the business may be able to change. It provides users with a phone that they can use in harsher/rougher situations. Without having to worry about the phone being damaged.

As the launch date approaches, we anticipate discovering more about the Nokia XR20.
